BOINGO CONTINUES TO EXPAND ACCESS IN EUROPE
New Operators Join Established Networks in Providing Global Roaming Access
LOS ANGELES – June 4th, 2008 Boingo Wireless Inc., the global market leader in Wi-Fi, continues to expand across Europe, bringing the worlds largest footprint of Wi-Fi accessibility to connected travelers worldwide. With the addition of the Adael Wireless network in France and Guglielmo S.r.I in Italy to the Boingo Roaming Network, Boingo users will have even more options for a local hotspot connection in Europe.
The additions of Adael Wireless and Guglielmo S.r.I will expand the European network by nearly 500 hotspot locations. The agreement cements Boingos commitment to continue growing the network by blanketing the major metropolitan areas throughout the world.
"Whether you are in Europe for business or pleasure, Boingo's partnerships with the top hotspot providers gives our members the opportunity to connect and work throughout Europe," said Luis Serrano, Boingo Vice President Network Strategy. "With Adael and Guglielmo, we continue to be a great choice for those that want to be connected and productive no matter where they go."
Boingo gives travelers the best choice of Wi-Fi hotspots by combining tens of thousands of locations from more than 150 leading Wi-Fi operators into one worldwide network. Boingo users can connect to any of these locations with a single Boingo account using Boingo's free Wi-Fi client software, which combines more than 660 network names into one "Boingo Wireless" network and stores the user name and password to simplify identifying and connecting to commercial Wi-Fi networks.
